I'm an unexperienced, well-dressed aspiring stylist in her late twenties. I often find myself dressing for the occasions I'm not going to. You know, the high-end fashion shows, the swanky art gallery openings, the boujee dinner dates. I shop as the sought after, well-known fashion stylist that I am... in my head.

It wasn't always like this. So many times, I found myself delicately (because if you break, you buy. And I ain't got money for that) admiring fashion pieces that were either too expensive, too funky, or too cool too pull off.

Then I just said to myself "Lyss, try it on".
